The 300 square-metre Grand Shanghai Ballroom can be divided into 3 sections with one able to command natural daylight, while the 2 adjoining hospitality rooms serve as holding rooms for speakers and presenters.  Boasting a high ceiling of 5.3 metres, the pillar-free ballroom can host banquets up to 250 guests and approximately 300 guests for cocktail reception.  Equipped with the latest technology including multiple Tannoy 8-inch dual ceiling speakers and subwoofers for full-range quality accoutics, 3 high-definition LCD projectors and 3 five-metre widescreen monitors as well as state-of-the-art lighting to create the perfect ambience for a successful event.  The 6 flexible function rooms are also equipped with 65 or 85 inch widescreen monitor with sound bar and LCD projector.  Guests can socialise over refreshments or cocktails at The Meeting Point before the event or between sessions.  Communal break area The Pantry is a concept made available to all event delegates as a place for relaxation and networking while enjoying a sumptuous selection of canapes and light bites and refreshment.  A professional team of catering, culinary and banquet specialists are dedicated to offer exceptional and personalised service from planning to completion of each bespoke event, ensuring every detail is impeccably executed.

Access and location

The Hotel is bounded on the north by Nanjing Road (west), on the west by Shimen Yi (No. 1) Road.  The Hotel is a mere 3 to 5 minutes’ walk to the Shanghai metre network (Line 2, 12 and 13) that connects to other major business and entertainment districts and direct access to the Pudong International Airport and Hong Qiao Airport.
