Access and location

Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong, is approximately 40 minutes by car from Hong Kong International Airport on Lantau Island.
We maintain a counter at the airport to help you upon arrival and departure. Visit the Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts Airport Counter in the Main Arrivals Hall, opposite Exit B. Our airport representatives in bright red uniforms will be there to assist you.

Airport Connections

Airport Express

The Airport Express train departs from the airport's main arrival hall every 10 minutes for the Hong Kong Station in the Central District. The one-way trip, which takes approximately 25 minutes, costs HKD 115. A taxi ride from Hong Kong Station to the hotel takes approximately 10 minutes.

Taxi

Taxis are easily available at the airport. A one-way journey, which takes approximately 40 minutes, will cost around HKD 400 under normal circumstances. Extra charges will be applied for luggage and road tolls.

Public Bus

Airport bus A11 departs every 20 to 25 minutes and takes about an hour to reach Admiralty MTR station on Queensway.

Walking Guide from Admiralty MTR

Leave through Exit C1 (Queensway Plaza) of Admiralty MTR station and take the escalator to Lab Concept at Queensway Plaza (Level One). Walk across the skybridge towards Pacific Place Two (Level Two). Take the escalator in front of Harvey Nichols to Level Three and walk straight to take another escalator to Supreme Court Road. Exit on your left to find Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong's main entrance.
