A choice MICE destination, Sands Expo and Convention Centre
is Singapore’s largest and most versatile meeting space, featuring 1.3 million
sq ft of flexible space, 250 meeting rooms, the region’s largest ballroom and
the capacity for 2,000 exhibition booths. In all Sands Expo and Convention
Centre can accommodate up to 45,000 delegates at one time.
As a LEED-Platinum and ISO-certified venue, Sands Expo is
also Singapore’s only carbon neutral MICE venue, allowing clients to organise
100 per cent carbon neutral meetings at no additional cost. A dedicated Sustainable
Event Advisory Services team can help clients minimise their environmental
impact, from sustainable menus to procurement and waste management.
Marina Bay Sands’ leadership in MICE has been recognised
through numerous accolades, such as the ‘Outstanding Event Venue Experience’
award accorded by the Singapore Tourism Board in 2021.
A leader in tech innovation
Marina Bay Sands continuously embraces emerging technologies
to elevate the end-to-end meeting journey and experience. It launched the
state-of-the-art Hybrid Broadcast Studio in August 2020 to cater to the
demand in hybrid events. Equipped with broadcast-quality live-streaming
capabilities, hologram functionalities and Mixed Reality, organisers can
seamlessly customise a meeting experience for both on-site and online audiences
at the same time.
The Virtual Meeting Place was also launched in
October 2021 to enable clients to move towards an omnichannel future. As an
extension of the physical venue, organisers can harness the platform’s multiple
functions, such as live streaming capabilities, exhibition booths, and a
content library, to continuously engage their communities all year round beyond
a once-a-year event.
