Pullman Lijiang Resort & Spa is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Michael SCHUMACHER to the position of Director of Food & Beverage from May 2013.

With a hospitality career spanning more than 28 years, Michael has extensive experience in hotel Food & Beverage operations, including Kitchen and Service. Starting his career with the Mövenpick Hotels Group he has amassed a wealth of experiences around the world with several international hotel groups including InterContinental Hotels, Starwood, Hyatt Hotels, Swissôte and most recently with Accor Hotels luxury brand Sofitel. In addition to extensive experience around The People’s Republic of China, Michael has experience in Germany, Switzerland, Estonia and more.

In joining Accor’s upscale Pullman Hotels and Resorts at the flagship Pullman Lijiang Resort & Spa, Michael will continue and extend the resorts leading position in Lijiang, especially as the leader in international cuisine at Xi Western Restaurant and Chinese cuisine at ZUN Chinese Restaurant. The resorts ‘Co-Meeting & Events Centre’ has hosted a large number of highly successful events for leading luxury and upscale multinational and domestic brands / companies and shall extend the appeal of the venue under Michael’s direction.
