Sofitel Wanda Beijing launched 2014 Sofitel Moon Cake Collection since 30th June, 2014. This collection contains several different kinds of boxes, featuring Chinese and Western design and flavours. Our arty and colorful visual is inspired by Andy Warhol famous contemporary American Artist. From Cbox box to Imperial box, the 2014 collection of 13 box can be separated in 3 categories of boxes: Classic with more traditional packaging; Creative with trendy, colourful and totally different creations, and Value concepts.
Vintage box includes Imperial Box, Luxury Box, Tradition Box, Opera Box and Deluxe Box. More particular, the Opera box created in cooperation with Julien -David Le Gentil de Le Gentil Consulting combines the art pieces of 3 French contemporary artists Yvon Daniel，Nicolas Fedorenko and Andre-Pierre Arnal, blending the French Elegance with Chinese tradition. The Opera box is a unique blend of Chinese tradition of the Mid-Autumn Festival and a touch of French flair brought by the modern paintings, adding an art dimension to the usual moon cake offers.
Classic box doesn’t mean lack of creativity! Always focusing on creating something different for our guests, our team has though these boxes to offer a variety of upscale choices to our guests. Highlights of the classic range, the Luxury boxes offer a touch of French elegance with leather texture and boxes than can be used as gift box for fine wines.
Creative boxes will let you think “Is this really a moon cake box？!”. This special range of boxes’ highlights are he first MyWay box, the first box where mooncake can be personalized with your name, the colourful and easy Smart box; and the Cbox, a coffee/tea cup available in 6 different visuals showcasing China and France monuments. Can be purchased per piece but the best way is to buy a set! Once the mooncake are eaten, keep the Cbox for your daily coffee or tea.
Value boxes bring another dimension to the mooncake offer. Each colour box gives you the opportunity to win prize with a lucky card. Each box is a winning one! The other 2 value boxes are focused on social responsibility. The Planet 21 box, made of recycle paper is a unique concept. Guests that bring back the box so Sofitel can recycle it will be rewarded of their green behavior with a hotel consumption voucher of 100 ¥. Part of the revenue generated by the Share box will be redistributed to a non profit organization that helps local community.
