At 08:40 in the morning of August 4, 2015, with the whistle on the campus football field at senior middle school division of Hainan Overseas Chinese Middle School, the preliminary contest of “Who is the King”summer camp for junior school group started officially, and eight junior school champion teams all over the country carried out the first round of competition.

“Who is the King” summer camp for junior school groups a national youth campus football activity jointly hosted by the Ministry of Education, State General Administration of Sports and CCTV, sponsored by Haikou Municipal People’s Government and operated by Hainan HIMICE Convention & Exhibition Co., Ltd. It is another juvenile football event following the first goal kicked by Sun Xinyang, the Secretary of Standing Committee of Provincial Committee and Haikou Municipal Party Committee at Hainan division during auditions on July 6.

Haikou education football team that represented Hainan to attend the competition encountered a powerful competitor at the first round----domestic famous RDFZ team. Over more than half an hour of fierce competition, Haikou education football team was defeated by RDFZ team with a score of 1:3.

This team that gathered the province’s most excellent junior middle school team members had just participated in Hainan Provincial Youth Football Championship. Despite short and tense adjustment and training time, the team members still kicked applying the tactics of “small, fast and flexible, surrounding, compelling and grabbing” under the condition that they failed to achieve the best state in body and mind. We believe that they will play better in following matches.

One-week football camp combined sports competition with interesting leisure. Team members attending the competition could visit the style and features of Haikou city, make friends with companions from various parts and participate in diversified extracurricular sports activities in addition to carrying out fierce competition.
