What is your management style and how do you motivate hotel employees?
A: My management style is to strongly emphasis on leading by example, by “Being a role model” towards my team. I hope my associates can be influenced by my actions as well as my words. By doing so this will enable each associates to bring out the best in them and go the extra mile for our Guests.
Where does your passion for hospitality comes from?
A: I really enjoy my work. You never know which problems are coming your way and all of course are very challenging, so I find that what I enjoy the most is the sense of achievement and multi-culture energy.
What are your hotel ongoing plans for this year?
A: The hospitality industry in Jiading District is still growing and there are numerous challenges as well as opportunities. I hope we can be a good pioneer and pilot hotel of this area though our constant efforts to drive for results and sense of professionalism, in order to improve our market share, hotel awareness and fulfill guest expectations.
What is your best memory during your career in hospitality?
A: “2013 International Forum on Electric Vehicle Pilot Cities and Industrial Development” was held in our hotel on 30th May. This event was conducted by Shanghai Automobile City and Shanghai Government. Many government leaders, consulate officers and media were invited to take part in this event. Our dedicated & meticulous service combined with our fully-equipped hotel facilities impressed our VIP guests very much. Finally I was impressed and inspired by the level of confidence & creativity displayed from my team to deliver & execute such an important event.
